Day In The Sun!

Fun in the sun was exactly what we did! Kylee, Joseph, and I all decided that we definately needed to work on our tans. It was great but you have to be careful of course when you are out. New Zealands o-zone is pretty much destroyed so there is nothing at all protecting you from the sun. So we slapped on some tanning oil and went for it. Afterwards i went a bought a slip and slide for the kids and we all had a great time. Little joseph decided that his swimsuit was gonna be his birthday suit. That was an interesting sight to see! We all definately are looking for more summer days though. A summer christmas...I guess there is a first for everything!

THIS JUST IN!!!!!!

Due to the amount of money that is spent on utilities here in New Zealand Joseph has resorted to another option for bathing. A cheaper way to conserve water! I think it is a great idea! I suggest each of us have pre arranged days for our bathing! I call Saturday! Seeing how we have 9 people in our family someone is gonna have to double up. 2 people to a bucket!!! I just hope it's not me!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

AHHHH!!!!! Halloween was a blast! I went as Miss America and my date Michael Gray went as my bodyguard! We went to a party at this school that some lady from our ward put it on. It was a total blast though! and i have to say that my date isn't that bad looking! He is actually way HOT! Alix you tatally have to see some of these boys out here! OH MAN!!! lol

Out here in New Zealand though there aren't really that many people who do the whole Trick-or-Treat door to door thing...kinda weird but it is gradually getting bigger and bigger out here! The family said that next year they are going to throw a huge halloween party for all my siblings friends! They are gonna show them how American's celebrate Halloween! Aren't they in for a treat!

Making Memories!!

So I have come to relize that as the years pass people move on from one thing to another. They make new friends, they lose old ones. We all progress in life by the trials we face. The best things we have though are the memories of all the great times we have experienced with the ones we love! Live everyday like it is your last...Make sure to tell the people who mean the most in your life that you Love them!

The Great New Zealand!!

Okay so here is the short version of why i am here in New Zealand...The family wanted a change. It has been a great experience and I love it. How many people actually get to live in a different country. Not only a different country but i bet if you ask people where New Zealand is most of them have to look it up on a map. So it is cool to move to a place where not many know where it is. I am only here for 6 months then i go home to Vegas! I can't wait! 4 months have passes already and i am excited to inform you that I have definately started the count down till I leave!
We have done alot of fun things out here though! I have been to Lake Taupo, Rotorua (to a maori villiage...the natives), Mount Maunganui, Hamilton Zoo (not alot of animals), Hamilton Gardens (sooo pretty), and the New Zealand Temple( B-E-A-utiful). We have alot more planned and I am excited to see what else is out there.
I have a couple friends out here and they are so great! Kerryn, Michael, Carl and Mark.I love talking to them because of their cute accents! Plus with all my guy friends it makes them alot cuter with the accent! What can i say I'm a sucker for a guy with a kiwi accent. Thats what New Zealanders are called...Kiwi's!
If you ever get a chance to visit a country i would totally recomend New Zealand! It is amazing and everyone would love it!
